Moats Way Equestrian is a purpose built training and livery yard set in eighty acres of arable and grazing land. The yard is owned and managed by Claire Dodson BSc, BHSII. Claire is a highly experienced trainer and competitor, primarily in Eventing but also in all Riding Club and Pony Club activities.

The location of the yard, privately situated at a distance from main roads, makes it a safe, quiet and secure environment for your horse. The stables are located thirty feet from the main dwelling, allowing 24-hour supervision and hence excellent security. In addition, there are electric main gates and an alarmed tack room. Alarm sensors are fitted to every stable door. Should the removal of a horse be attempted when the yard is not supervised the alarm will link to the tack room and notify the yard manager and the police.

The thirty acres of grazing ensure all year turnout for horses if required and the remaining land provides excellent off-road hacking with access to the local villages of Hemingford Abbots and Hemingford Grey providing some road work if required. We have also gained permission from the neighbouring farmer to ride on a made up track across his land that joins into bridleways to Hilton and The Offords.
